Trying to ignore my cold
This is bullshit. I have a cold, and I dont have time to be sick. Right now all things are really peaceful the baby and Cami are in the living room watching Micky Mouse and playing with the baby toys so I get to enjoy my coffee, pay some online bills, and do this bloggy. Anyway while Im enjoying my shortlived quiet time I will bitch about how being sick sucks. Especially when the baby woke up every TWO hours last night. I should've let her cry. It would've been fine but my brain is not working properly at midnight, two, and 4 AND 6. Sheesh. To night, she will cry. It wont get me anymore sleep but the babe is nearly a year old and that is too old to be waking like a newborn. There are so many things to do today. Bill is coming home tonight and Eric is coming for the weekend. The floors need vacuumed and swiffered, and the bathroom needs cleaned. Hell I need cleaned. Its been a week since I've shaved. Even though I will shave today, it does not mean the hubster is gettin in tonight. Im sick and not feelin it. Yuk cold coffee. Just took a sip and needs a warm up. I hate that, it goes cold too quick. I want a coffee mug with radient heat. Thats a good frikin idea! If its possible with marble floors why not ceramic mugs? It might be a bit bulky but hell, I'd buy that. Anyway, I need to go to Michaels to get a frame for B's plank owner certificate, I gotta dye my hair cuz my next appt isnt till Jan 4th. NOT going to run around with grey roots for another 3 weeks. Shit if I gotta get to Waterford, Ibetter get the girls suited up. Its almost 830 already and I only have till noon before the boy gets home. Im keeping Cami out of Coffeebreak/PrePreK today, there is just too much to do today. Besides I dont feel like sitting in that room with the other moms blowing my nose and making small talk. Alright let the day begin. Its gonna be a rough one.

i discovered this weekend that my belly is now too big to allow me to bend over to shave...john just loves that. lolol.
ReplyDeleteGet one of those candle warmer plates (at michael's since you are going there today anyway) and use it as a coffee cup warmer. It is not portable but they are cheap so you can get more than one.
If nothing else, there are the coffee mugs at Target on special for the holidays you can plug in to your car charger. With a little messing, they could easily be converted to AC power :) But I definitely like the idea of the candle warmers too. Good luck with the baby, and I hope your day went somewhat according to plan!
