Boobs

My lastest issue has been with bras and boobs. I had two bras both for nursing but the past two weeks have been spent getting Lauren to bed without nursing. She's 15 months and I'm ready to stop. She's getting to that critical point where if I dont stop she'll be dependant on me to get to bed. I'm handling it all very well, not sad about this new milestone at all. It's def time to move forward. Lauren has been taking the transition with great strides. She nursed about once a day at first then the past week its been every other day and today she had a very hard time getting to sleep and when I offered her the boob she refused! So that's that. Now back to the bra issue, the two nursing bras I've had forever need to GO. One of them popped an underwire so it went to the trash so now I literally have one bra. Oh and a strapless but that doesnt count cuz i only wear that when I have to. Today I was able to take off and head to a professional bra fitting over in Westerly at this Lingerie store called Zoe and Co. I figured it would be the best place to go to get properly fitted instead of Vicorias secret where some moron with a measuring tape will tell me the wrong size. So I get the proper size and just when I thought everything was fine this lady is telling me a "schpeel." Im not a total moron so I picked up on this over-rehearsed bunch of lines right away. And to confirm, when a lady came into the dressing room next to me she got the same schpeel. It started when I complained about where she was putting the back of the bra (around my lower back!!) and how uncomfortable it was. She went on about a bra being a piece of machinery and it needs to be lower in the back to hoist the girls up in the front...yadda yadda. Anyway she proceeds to bring in a bunch of bras in my size that I HATE. I wanted a lined demi cup with an underwire. Nothing fancy with lace or anything just something to wear everyday and be really comfortable on. All the bras she brought in were so over tried on and in bad shape and very uncomfortable. She then proceeds to tell me that wearing my "proper" size can take a couple WEEKS to get used to!! I was not that far off in my bra size to begin with. I walked in wearing a 34C and she measured me as a 32/34B I actually measured a 33 so depending on the style I could go either way. Regardless none of these bras fit like a bra should. This woman was so full of crap. OH get this...I told her I wanted a LINED bra not all this padding crap but she kept bringing in these see through ones or really ugly full coverage ones with zero lining. Like most ladies, i do NOT need the world knowing when I have a cold chill. Lined bra, please. ANYway so i tell her what i want and she asks me why!!! Um, because I have nipples that like a home and not a peep show thank you very much. Her answer? "WE ALL have nipples!" What kind of answer is that??? Uh, yes Iam aware of the anatomy of the human..Jeezus. So now she brings in these petals that u are supposed to slip in to an unlined bra and tells me this will help. WHAT?? NO lady, a LINED bra will do just fine. Seriously all these bras were no less than FIFTY dollars. One was a HUNDRED and fifty for a shitty over-tried on bra! Needless to say I left there empty handed and very frustrated. I would never go back there again or recommend anyone else go there unless you have a really unusual size. (They have 29DD and 48A's in stock!) I will be heading to Target for a bra that will cost me no more than 20 dollars, thank you very much.
