Reassuring news

I had another level II u/s today and the news allowed me (and Bill for sure) to really exhale. Baby girl's heart beat is nothing to be really concerned about at this point. The Perinatologist told me that it will more than likely correct itself and could have been brought on initially by the shot of Trebutaline I got to stop the contractions a week and a half ago. That med is a stimulant and affected her system as well...so at this point we are not going to worry about her heartbeat, the structure of the heart is perfect and its doing its job the way its supposed to. BUT of course we cant just go on our merry way...NOOOOOOOOOO......in two weeks I have to drive an hour and a half to get a fetal echocardiogram done just to make sure nothing else is wrong. Ugh what if they find something else that doesnt show up on u/s? Idk, just jumping to conclusions, im sure its all fine. Now onto my cervix, my poor short cervix. Its supposed to be 3cm but it measured at 2.4/2.5 this afternoon. All in all not as bad as what my regular doctor told me yesterday (1.8). So I still need to remain on modified bed rest and cut out lifting, pushing, pulling, heavy stuff and in the words of my doctor "nothing in the vagina." yay. Bill was less than thrilled to hear that still stands.  Just do what really needs to be done and keep my feet up. Just taking one day/one week at a time over here. At least now I don't have to be afraid to move anymore! God I was scared to sneeze, cough, fart, sit up, roll over, anything that would allow my body to "bear down" and possibly thin out my cervix. I feel much more confident that we will sail through this second trimester and really be able to relax once week 28 rolls around.
