FINALLY some progress!

I had it in my head that today we were going to get yard work DONE...I have been without Bill for weeks on end and having no help to do the yard has been a real pain. I love it when the yard looks pretty and this year has proved tough to maintain the pretty status. So even though B got called into work he was home in 2 hours and we got everything I wanted done. Lawn mowed, weeds eradicated, new whisky barrel(to be filled with flowers), some digging, raking, and lots of dirt and sweat today. We really busted out asses out there because I really want the yard to look pretty for our guests. I sweat so much today that I called it a workout  (I was out there from 10am to 3pm) and will do the P90x tmrw. My body is just too tired to do that tonight...anyway tmrw imma get some flowers to fill in some pots and maybe some hanging baskets to add more life to the place. After we were done, we all hopped in the pool which was lovely, ugh we were covered in dust, dirt and sweat so it was such a relief! I even took Lauren in, she still doesnt know what to make of the pool yet but she seems to quasi enjoy it. Then we all went out for pizza (not diet friendly but its not like I ate the whole thing) and onto Kohls where I actually found a dress for the commissioning! I was shocked because I didnt think Id look good in anything.  But they have that nicer line of Chaps there and I found a knee length black with white flowers that looks decent. Still very self conscious of my gut hanging out but Im sure no one will be looking at me with all the hullabaloo going on. SO I can actually say I finally had a productive day around here! That makes me happy and hope it sets the tone for the rest of the week.
