Da Chiefs

We hosted a get together for all the chiefs on the Dallas yesterday and it was a great time. Everyone seems real nice and I hope we all can get along for the next 2 1/2-3 years. The kids had a blast running around swimming and playing with sparklers and each other. Bill got drunk but I had to teach this morning so I hung back a bit. I figured teaching kickboxing might be a challange with a hangover! Today was spent cleaning up and putting things away for the first half of the day then we had our friend Jon over and his girls to help eat the left over BBQ chicken and ribs (SO delish) and we all swam and drank and bullshit for the rest of the afternoon. The kids were super tired so they fell asleep fast. Mase and Cam didnt go to bed till 1030 last night and of course were up at the ass crack of dawn today. We knew they needed to get right to bed tonight. I was able to get Lew in bed last night at her normal bedtime but she still went down easy tonight. Swimming always wears their asses out. Love it! Tmrw we have to go to Cami's Tball picnic at noon and I hope its over in a couple hours. Im really getting annoyed  that we havent had much time at home since school ended. Its supposed to be "go nowhere"time and just be lazy and let the kids do whatever they want around here. But its been crazy go go go for two weeks now! The schedules are always so tight from August to June so I'd like to really scale back for the next month.
