I am shocked at how well this kid is potty training. The other two gave me such a hard time, and it was because I waitedTY too long to start. I was pregnant with the next child when they were two and a half so I waited till they were 3+ and I think if I started earlier it would have gone faster. Eh, who knows...there are so many factors that go into successful training it's hard to tell. All I know is Mase still dropped trow and peed where-ever he wanted till he was nearly 5 and Cami STILL holds her poop till she has a massive skidder her pants and royally ticks me off. That was just yesterday! I caught her hiding behind a wall on the playscape at the park and asked her if she had to go and she said "NO" so needless to say when she got home there was a big mess her undies. Unreal. I was so mad that I said "Kindergarden teachers send little girls home who poop their pants!! They will call me and I will have to come get you in front of all your friends!" That is an outright lie and I feel bad about that but I was mad! Idk what to do with her and this issue. Jeezus, is she gonna do this till shes a teenager?? I keep telling her that Lauren is going to be potty trained before her and at this rate, she will!!Gah, back to Lauren. She is doing wonderfully! She goes to her little pot all by herself now.
She feels the urge, goes to the bathroom, pulls down her undies, and goes! She she pulls her pants back up and runs to me and says either "I pee pee!" or "potty!" I have to follow her back to the bathroom where she claps her hands happily and says "nem-a-nem?" and I give her 2 M&M's for reward. I don't care about what people say about candy as a reward being a bad thing. She can eat a whole bag a day if it gets her to piss and shit in the toilet by the end of the summer. I am SO close to being done with diapers! I'm hoping by the end of the year to be only using them for bedtime. Alright enough toilet talk....if you'd have told me ten years ago I'd be writing about my kids bathroom habits I would roll my eyes and said "ew, yeah right." Sigh. Yet here I am.
